Very tranquil and peaceful
Great picnic areas. Annual location for our church picnic. This year we had the sheltered spot right next to the boat ramp with a good view of the fishing bridge. Sand volleyball court.
Good place to put in kayak and either go up to lake or down to Withlacoochee river. Very clear water with loads of baby fishes! Saw otters and lots of birds.
Boat ramp to outlet river. Grills and picnic tables, restrooms. Crosswalk across river you can fish from. Beautiful park with plenty if wildlife.
Nice spot to put a boat in for free on the outlet river close to the Withlacoochee. A bridge to fish off of and picnic areas as well as trails and a sandy ball playing area.
